Margaret was born in North London in 1938, studied at the Hornsey College of Art and has a BA (Hons) in Humanities and Art History. She has always enjoyed practising and appreciating art in its many forms particularly painting, pottery, ceramic sculpture, calligraphy, spinning and stained glass. Inspiration comes through studying nature, the works of masters and her contempories, and international travel. She strives, above all, to produce interesting, beautiful and harmonious works.

She has exhibited her sculpture at the Tattershall Castle and shows her works in annual society exhibitions. At present, her stained glass can be viewed in the Walkern Gallery Hertfordshire and recently she has had commissions for animal portraits in pastel.
